Going south from Guildford on the A3 do a fast blast until the Thursley/Bowlhead Green turnoff (6.8 miles from the A31 Hogsback junction).  At T-junction turn right across A3 and follow road round to the left in the direction of Thursley. After 200 yds turn left where Old Portsmouth Road continues (you will be following the road to the right later when going to the pub).  Proceed to dead end and park.  Plenty of room plus more parking in Boundless Road.

Pub – The Golden Fleece, Elstead (The Three Horseshoes hates the Hash).  Hash friendly pub plus excellent Thai food. 

Directions: go back along Old Portsmouth Road and turn left at the junction and go through Thursley (Dyehouse Road).  At T-junction turn right and follow road for 2.5 miles into Elstead.  At Green turn left and pub will be on the left after 50 yards.  7 minute journey.
